Hyderabad: A tragic incident unfolded in Andhra Pradesh’s Nandyal district, claiming the lives of five family members, including a newlywed couple, in a car collision with a parked truck on Wednesday.

The fatal crash transpired around 5:15 a.m. on the national highway near Nallagatla in Allagadda mandal. The driver of the car reportedly failed to notice the parked truck along the roadside, resulting in the immediate demise of all five occupants.

The family, originally from Hyderabad, was returning home from Tirupati after visiting the Tirumala temple. The victims include Balakiran and Kavya, a newlywed couple married just a week prior, along with Balakiran’s mother Manthri Laxmi, father Manthri Ravinder, and younger brother Uday.

The family, residing in West Venkatapur in Secunderabad, had recently celebrated their marriage with a reception in Shameerpet on March 3.
