French Pole Vaulter Approached by Porn Site After Viral Crotch-Related Disqualification
In a surprising turn of events, French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati has been approached by an adult entertainment company following his unexpected disqualification at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The 21-year-old athlete made headlines when his crotch inadvertently knocked down the height bar during his third failed attempt at the 5.70-meter mark, leading to his disqualification from the pole vault competition.
While Ammirati finished a disappointing 12th and missed out on the finals, the incident did not go unnoticed by the adult entertainment industry. TMZ Sports obtained a letter from the adult website CamSoda, which has now offered the French athlete a staggering $250,000 to showcase his “manhood” on camera.
In the letter, CamSoda VP Daryn Parker expressed his admiration for Ammirati’s “talent below the belt” and stated, “If it was up to me, I’d award you for what everyone else saw, your talent below the belt. As a lover of crotch-centric activities, I’d love to offer you up to $250,000 in exchange for a 60-minute webcam show, in which you show off your goods, minus the crossbar, of course.”
The company’s CEO went on to assure Ammirati that he would not have to worry about his “compression shorts” if he accepted the lucrative offer.
Ammirati has since issued a statement addressing his disqualification, stating, “I’m a bit gutted because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings. Just a technical session.”
This incident harks back to a similar mishap that occurred in the 2016 Rio Olympics, where Japanese pole vaulter Hiroki Ogita was disqualified after his genitals knocked off the height bar.
