13-Year-Old Apprehended in Denver Bus Shooting Case
In a tragic incident in Denver, a 13-year-old boy has been apprehended for the fatal shooting of a man on a bus, as confirmed by the Denver Police Department. The arrest was announced on Friday, and the minor’s identity is being withheld due to legal regulations.
According to the police’s preliminary findings on the January 27 incident, a verbal altercation ensued between the suspect and the victim regarding the positioning of the victim’s leg, blocking the bus aisle. Shockingly, the altercation escalated when the suspect opened fire on the victim.
Law enforcement responded promptly to the shooting around 6:40 p.m., discovering a 60-year-old man with a gunshot wound on the bus at the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
