₹5,700 Fine Imposed on 15 Shopkeepers for Littering in Hubballi

Hubballi: Fines amounting to ₹5,700 were imposed on 15 shopkeepers for littering in areas under Ward 67 of the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC), including Hirepet Road, Alagundagi Oni, Simpigalli, and Akkihonda Road. Authorities issued a stern warning that trade licenses would be revoked if such activities continued.

During the operation, awareness was raised about the harmful effects of indiscriminate littering on health. Citizens were encouraged to join hands in keeping the city clean and beautiful.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Health Inspector Deepika R., along with Supervisors Manjunath Kempannavar, Anand, and Basavaraj Avannavar.
