Belagavi: A group of miscreants brutally killed A 21-year-old youth in Machhe village in Belagavi district.
The deceased has been identified as Prateek Lohar, a resident of Majagaon village. He was brutally hacked to death by a group of miscreants when he came to Machhe village to meet his longtime friend, Shubham Sulgekar, 22. In the attack, Shubham also suffered serious injuries, according to local sources.
Old rivalry is said to be the reason for the murder. Belagavi Rural Police have registered a case and are looking for the accused. The police would reveal more details about the murder once they nab the accused.
