Hubballi: A horrific incident occurred on Sunday night, a 25-year-old youth, Sushant Ballari, a resident of the Settlement area, was brutally murdered in an open plot near Dennissons Hotel.
Reports suggest that a gang of youths targeted Sushant in what is believed to be an old rivalry. It is alleged that Sushant’s own relative and a few others were involved in the heinous crime.
The accused reportedly used a cement brick to deliver fatal blows to Sushant’s head, resulting in his untimely death. The Gokul Road police have registered a case in connection with the murder, and investigations are currently underway.
Tragic Accident at APMC Claims Life of Laborer
A heart-wrenching accident occurred at the APMC (Agricultural Produce Market Committee) in Hubballi in the early hours of Monday, resulting in the death of a laborer. The victim was fatally run over by a truck that had come to transport onions. While the victim’s body has been sent to KIMS (Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences) for post-mortem, details about the deceased are not yet available.
