Hubballi,By Hubli Express News: Hubballi Town police have successfully apprehended a suspect involved in the theft of liquid gold from a jewelry store.
According to police reports, the perpetrator had unlawfully entered a jewelry shop situated in Maratha Galli and pilfered gold in its liquid state, valued at Rs 61.8 lakhs. The thief made a quick escape with the stolen goods.
Inspector AM Tahsildar, leading a dedicated police team, successfully arrested the accused and recovered gold worth Rs 12 lakhs and Rs 6.5 lakhs in cash. The accused has now been remanded to judicial custody.
