The Indian Medical Association, Hubballi branch, has launched the first women doctors’ wing. Its installation ceremony was held in the city on Friday.
The installation was done by the State IMA President, Dr. Suresh Kudva. Dr. Sangeeta Antartani took charge as chairman of the wing, and Dr. Shasi Hisamani as co-chairman.
Dr. Jayashri Baligar took an oath from the guest as co-ordinator, Dr. Bharati Bhavikatti as secretary, and Dr. Kanchana UT as treasurer.
Dr. S Y Mulkipatil, vice president of the IMA state branch, Dr. S B Lakkol, President-Elect of the IMA KSB, Dr. GK Bhat, PRO of the IMA KSB, Dr. Kumbar, Div Coordinator, Dr. Babruwad, VP Hubli IMA, Dr. Manjunath Nekar, Secretary of the Hubli IMA, and Dr. Sachin Revankar, Dist Co-Ordinator were honored.
The Director of KIMS, Dr. Ramalingappa, KIMS Principal, Dr. Ishwar Hosamani, and others were present.
