Hubballi: As temperatures continue to soar across Karnataka, there is some respite for the residents of North interior Karnataka. Dr. RH Patil, the principal nodal officer of the GKMS Unit at UAS Dharwad, has said that pre-monsoon showers have arrived early this year, which will lead to sporadic rain with lightning and thunder in the region.
According to Dr. Patil, this early arrival of pre-monsoon showers is a welcome relief for the region, which has been experiencing intense heatwave conditions. He predicts that the rainfall will occur over the next two days, March 15 and March 16, and will bring much-needed relief to the people of the region.
