Ayodhya: On April 23, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, will perform the ‘Jalabhishek’ of Ram Lalla using water from 155 rivers from various countries, such as Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and China, which have reached Ayodhya.
The water was collected by Vijay Jolly, a former MLA and Delhi BJP leader, from countries like America, Germany, Tanzania, Nigeria, Britain, France, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. Even water from Antarctica, which is usually inaccessible, was brought for this occasion.
During the ceremony, the ‘jal kalash’ will be worshiped by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Maniram Das Chawni Auditorium in Ayodhya. Stickers bearing the flags of the respective countries, the names of the rivers, and their countries’ names will be placed on the water collected from various countries. Additionally, envoys from many countries will also participate in the program.
The water from Pakistan was sent by Hindus living there to Dubai and then brought to Delhi, from where Jolly took it to Ayodhya. The water collected is not only from Pakistan but also from many other countries such as Tibet, Ukraine, Russia, Suriname, Kazakhstan, and Canada.
