Bandeppa Kashempur, a Bidar MLA, persuaded an old lady in her eighties to receive a COVID injection. The MLA calls a doctor and asks if she may take the dose because her haemoglobin level is low. The doctor responds that her haemoglobin levels have no bearing on the vaccine and that it is perfectly safe to vaccinate her. Following the conversation, the MLA approaches the lady and attempts to persuade her to receive the vaccine. He posted the video to his Twitter account, and it garnered praise for MLA’s excellent work. The old lady was not vaccinated, Bandeppa sits beside her while a health worker inoculates her.
