Ballari district-in-charge minister B Sriramulu has requested External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to facilitate the return of the around 10 students who were stranded in Ukraine’s Kyiv region.
Sriramulu said that of the 10 students, five were from Ballari district, two were from Raichur, one from Chitradurga, one from Mysuru, and one from Bengaluru, he said.
He also spoke to the students stuck in that country. He asked them to remain calm, not to panic, and he said that he would make all the arrangements for their return to the country at the earliest.
