Belagavi: Dr Anjali Nimbalkar, the Congress MLA from Khanapur, has made Jowar Rotis on a traditional firewood stove during her door-to-door election campaign.
The video of her making the rotis has been shared on social media. Nimbalkar said that she learned the skill of making Jowar Rotis at the age of 13 from her grandmother and she was happy to make them even after a long gap.
This comes after Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the Congress leader and Gandhi scion, made Dosa in the kitchen of a famous Myalari Hotel in Mysuru during her visit to Karnataka for election campaigning. With the assembly elections in the state approaching, political leaders are leaving no stone unturned to connect with the people.
