Bengaluru: The Congress party has launched a digital membership drive with an intention of acquiring maximum members in the state. Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D K Shivakumar was in Hubballi to enroll new members and he flagged off digital membership drive in Hubballi and Dharwad, Gadag, and Haveri district on Sunday.
The Congress strong man reached Bengaluru in a train and when alighted at the Yesvantpur railway station, he welcomed a few auto-rickshaw drivers into the party by enrolling their names digitally.
Shivakumar himself clicks the photographs of the new members and filled in their details on the app. He posted a KOO in this regard.
