Hubballi: Recently, a 39-year-old man was robbed of his mobile phone and cash worth Rs 500 when he was near the fish market on Mantur Road.
A gang of six unidentified people who came on bikes robbed Mohammed Yunis Kunnibhavi, a resident of Vidyanagar when he was walking near the fish market on Wednesday evening. Recently, a senior citizen was also robbed in a similar way near Pinto Bar.
Earlier, a gang was active on Gadag Road, which used to target trucks, cars, and bike riders to rob valuables. But these incidents in the city have worried the residents. Bendigeri police have registered a case and an investigation is going on.
