Ballari: As many as 24 students at the Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Monday. With this total, the number of infected students reached 55.
VIMS Director Gangadhar Gouda told www.hubliexpress.com that the institute had collected samples from the 293 students who tested negative during the previous testing, of which 21 students tested positive, and three students’ primary contacts of the infected also tested positive.
