Hubballi: The Vidyanagar police have registered a preventive action report against a priest and two women for allegedly trying to preach Christianity to the people at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) campus.
The Hindu activists alleged that they were distributing copies of Christian literature to the people near the casualties on the KIMS premises, but the police did not mention that in the PAR.
According to the police, the accused came to the campus with the intent of preaching religion, and they have filed a PAR under Section 107 of the CrPC against three (likely to commit a breach of the peace or disturb public tranquillity, or to commit any wrongful act that may probably occasion a breach of the peace).
