Dharwad: The Vidyagiri Police have arrested two persons on the charges of theft and recovered a camera and lens and a bike used in crime worth Rs 4.16 lakh
The accused gained entry into Swati Photo studio in Manjunath Nagar in Malamaddi area near KVG Bank recently.
The arrested have been identified as Sunil Sitimani and Manjunath Dambarikoppa both residents of Laxmi Singankeri area of Dharwad city.
The police seized a Pulsar bike, recovered the camera and lenses that they stole from the studio. The total worth of the recovered items is Rs 4.16 Lakh, said the police.
The police team, led by Inspector MK Basapur made the arrest. The police team involved PSI Sachinkumar Dasaraddi, SR Tegur, BM Angadi, MF Nadaf and others.
The owner of the Swati Photo studio Rahul is also a short film director said the police.
