
Hubballi: Finally, the day has arrived, the long pending demand of the people of Hubballi-Dharwad and north Karnataka has been fulfilled, and the much awaited direct daily flight service between Hubballi and Delhi has started.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi flagged off the service from Hubballi, and Union Minister for Aviation Jyotiradithya Scindia virtually flagged off the service from Delhi. The two and a half-day journey between Hubballi and Delhi is now reduced to just two and a half hours with the introduction of this flight service.
On the first flight of the route, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi flew to Delhi. And he also shared a video of pilot Akshay Patil, who is a native of Bailhongal, making an announcement in Uttar Kannada language or accent.
The flight 6E5624 will depart Delhi at 10 a.m. and land at Hubballi airport at 12.45 p.m. In the return direction, the flight 6E5625 will take off at 1.15 p.m. from Hubballi and reach the national capital at 3.45 p.m.
The airbus aircraft that landed at the Hubballi airport from Delhi had 179 passengers, and from Hubballi, 152 passengers flew to Delhi. The Airbus aircraft received a water cannon salute at the Hubballi airport as soon as it landed.
