The newly installed musical fountain at MG Park in Hubballi

Hubballi: In just a few days, you will enjoy the musical fountain show in Hubballi, which means you do not need to go all the way to Mysuru to watch the show. You can visit MG Park with family and friends and enjoy the show.

Yes, you read it right—the Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City Limited (HDSCL) has installed a musical fountain at Indira Glass House by spending around Rs 3.44 crore. The new attraction will be inaugurated on December 9 or 10, if everything goes according to plan.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, MLA Arvind Bellad and Mayor Iresh Anchatgeri inspected the newly installed fountain and watched the show. The HDSCL officers explained the new attraction to the minister. According to the sources, the minister’s visit was a surprise and based on a complaint that the fountain was not working. The minister visited the park to see how it was working.

According to HDSCL officials, the fountain was created using the design, build, operate, and transfer model (DBOT), and it is more advanced than the one at the KRS dam. They also claim that each show will last 15 minutes and will feature three songs lasting nearly five minutes.
