Hubballi; A protest by Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) students went out of control on Wednesday when a student allegedly threw ink on KSLU Vice-Chancellor Ishwar Bhat when he came to receive a memorandum from the protesting students.
The students were protesting, seeking the promotion of all students to the next semester at the university campus. Students began raising slogans calling for his resignation when he arrived at the protesting spot and one of the students threw ink on him while the police were escorting him to his office. Police took a few students into custody for questioning.
