Dharwad: Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil has ordered for closure of outpatient (OPD) service at the SDM Hospital following 182 people from the college campus tested positive.
As many staffs have yet to undergo tests for novel Coronavirus infection and many are waiting for their test results and prevent further spreading of Covid virus, the DC has asked for closure of service till the test results of all the staff are available.
Both Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil and Police Commissioner Labhu Ram visited the SDM Hospital and medical college and they will chair a meeting with the VC, principal, and other office-bearers of the SDM Medical College and Hospital.
