Kalaburgi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai visited the famous Dattatreya temple in Ganagapur in Afzalpur taluk in Kalaburgi district on Tuesday. The CM offered a special prayer to the Lord.
Speaking to reporters, the CM said his government is considering the overall development of Ganagapur, and his government has already released a grant of Rs 5 crore. There is a plan to develop the temple premises just like the Vishawanath corridor was developed in Kashi.
A DPR of Rs 67 was prepared, and in the next budget, monetary allocations would be made, he said. He said the government has decided to provide compensation to the tur dal growers, who suffered crop loss, and a meeting will be conducted today at 4 p.m. In the meeting, the compensation will be decided, he said.
