Hubballi: Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil appealed to religious leaders for support in limiting the spread of the new Coronavirus. He asked the leaders to emphasize the necessity of receiving two doses of the Covid vaccine every day during prayers in order to increase vaccine coverage.
On Saturday, he met with religious leaders at the Anjuman Centenary Auditorium in the city.
Mohammad Yusuf Savanur, head of Anjuman-e-Islam, HDMC Commissioner Suresh Itnal, Joint Commissioner of HDMC Aziz Desai, Dr. Farooq Uppin, and others spoke at the event.
