VHP seeks a thorough investigation of forcible entry into Trimbakeshwar temple

Trimbakeshwar temple

Mumbai, May 17 (HS): Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) general secretary Milind Parande said that it is necessary to thoroughly investigate the case of forcible entry of people of other religions into the Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik. Such forcible entry could be part of a larger conspiracy, he added.

Milind Parande told that on Monday, some Muslim youths with Jihadi ideology tried to forcibly enter the Trimbakeshwar temple located in Nashik, Maharashtra. Shri Kshetra Trimbakeshwar Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, this type of entry in this temple can be done only under some big conspiracy. However, due to the alertness and vigilance of the security guards, further disaster was averted. A similar attempt was made last year as well.

Milind Parande said that Muslims or non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the Trimbakeshwar temple to visit the sanctum sanctorum and anywhere in the holy area to maintain the sanctity of the temple. Efforts are being made to create controversy through Muslims in many places of worship of Hindus across the country and to capture them. Looking at this, we feel that this could be a big conspiracy.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad demands that Jihadi Muslim youths who tried to enter Trimbakeshwar temple should be arrested by registering a case against them. The Hindu community will strongly oppose all kinds of temple encroachments, property grabs, conspiracies.
