Udhayanidhi Stalin, a prominent DMK Minister, has once again found himself in the midst of controversy, following his earlier statement regarding Sanathana Dharma. This time, he compared the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to a poisonous snake.
This statement comes shortly after DMK deputy general secretary A Raja had previously likened Sanathana Dharma to HIV and leprosy, and just a few days ago, he compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a snake.
Udhayanidhi Stalin, the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, made this provocative statement during the marriage event of DMK MLA Rajendran in Neveli on Sunday. He explained, “If a poisonous snake enters your home, simply removing it won’t suffice because it might take refuge in the nearby rubbish. To keep the snake away, you must clear the surrounding bushes.”
He went on to draw a political analogy, stating, “Now, if we draw parallels with the current situation, I consider Tamil Nadu as our home, the poisonous snake as the BJP, and the rubbish near our home as the AIADMK. To eliminate the BJP, you need to get rid of the AIADMK as well.”
In a separate incident, A Raja had compared Prime Minister Modi to a snake earlier, saying, “Everyone is ready to confront the snake named Modi, but no one possesses the antidote for a snakebite. They all approach with sticks, but they fear being bitten by the snake. No one has a solution for that.”
“However, figures like Periyar, Anna, and ourselves alone possess the antidote. North Indians have realized that Dravidam is the antidote capable of neutralizing the venom of the poisonous snake,” he added.
