Two students land at Hubballi airport.

Hubballi: Two MBBS students stuck in Ukraine’s Kharkiv city landed at Hubballi airport this evening. The students who returned safely are Shivani Madiwalar, a fourth-year MBBS student and a resident of Hangal, and Ranjita, a resident of Shiggaon a third-year student, both of whom were studying at Kharkiv Medical University.

The students shared the horrible experience they experienced in Ukraine. They said that they faced lots of problems in Kharkiv as they used to eat only once a day and there were no proper drinking water arrangements. Because of the conflict, the prices of the food items were so high that when they reached Poland, they had just Rs 2,000 in their pockets.

The students reached Poland from Kharkiv, and they got flights to New Delhi and then to Bengaluru, and from Bengaluru, they landed at Hubballi airport. Minister Shivaram Hebbar welcomed the students at the airport.
