(Raigad Accident) On Sunday, a school bus carrying around 48 students overturned in the Khopoli Police Station jurisdiction of Raigad district.
According to Raigarh Police, two students died in the bus accident, while two others were critically injured. Many students were hurt.
“The bus overturned as students were returning from a picnic. A case has been filed, ” said the police. Students were taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to information, 47 students were injured, they were all students of a coaching class in the Chembur area of Mumbai. The sources added they had gone to Lonavala for one day picnic. The accident happened around 8.30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
