Hubballi: Two Ayurvedic students tested positive for a novel Coronavirus infection in Hubballi. They are the students of Hubli Ayurveda Seva Samiti’s Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Hospital located in Heggeri.
Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil confirmed that two students had tested positive. He said the students had been to Uttar Pradesh recently and after arriving here they underwent tests and they tested positive, he said.
Sources said that 36 students had gone to Uttar Pradesh to attend a conference, these students gave their swab samples after arriving in the city and two students tested positive. Sources added that they are asymptomatic and under home isolation. Few staff and students have given their swab samples for testing today, informed the sources.
