In the Asia Cup 2023 final against Sri Lanka, Mohammed Siraj displayed a remarkable performance under overcast conditions in Colombo.
The Indian pacer’s exceptional opening spell led to Sri Lanka being bowled out for just 50 runs. Siraj secured six wickets in total, with four of them coming in a single over, essentially sealing India’s victory.
His incredible performance prompted praise from Anand Mahindra, a prominent industrialist, who likened Siraj to a superhero. Mahindra had previously gifted Siraj a ‘Thar’ in 2021. In response to a Twitter user’s suggestion to gift Siraj an SUV, Mahindra mentioned that he had already done so.
