Hubballi: In view of the Eid prayer in Hubballi, the Hubballi-Dharwad Police have announced a number of traffic diversions that will be in effect on April 22, from 7 am to 12 pm. The diversions are being put in place to help ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the event.
State transport buses that typically ply between Hubballi and Gadag will be required to alight passengers at Pinto Circle and start their return journey from that point. Similarly, vehicles coming from Station Road will need to reach Hosur Cross via Pinto Circle, Desai Cross, and Laxmi Weigh Bridge.
State transport buses coming from Navalgund will also need to alight passengers at Sarvodaya Circle and start their return journey from there. Other vehicles and those coming from Pinto Circle will be permitted to reach Hosur Circle via Cotton Market.
Vehicles coming from Karwar Road will be allowed to reach Hosur Cross via Tarihal and Gokul Road. From Hosur, they can travel towards Dharwad, Navalgund Road, or Gadag Road via KTC Cross.
Buses coming from Bengaluru and Karwar Road will be permitted to reach Hosur Bus Terminus via Tarihal and Gokul Road. Buses coming from Dharwad will be allowed to reach Gadag Road via Bhagat Singh Circle and Desai Cross underbridge.
Vehicles coming from Karwar Road and Bengaluru will not be allowed to go towards Indi Pump. Instead, they can take a diversion and reach Tarihal, then Gokul Road, and finally reach Hosur Cross.
Finally, buses entering the city from Gadag and Navalgund sides will need to take the route of the ring road, reach Gabbur bypass, and then travel via Tarihal and Gokul Road to reach Hosur Terminus.
