Top officials from MORTH inspect Rani Chennamma Circle and H-D Bypass.

Hubballi: Senior officials from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) paid a visit to Rani Chennamma Circle to discuss the flyover project, which will begin once all preliminary works are done.

A team of four ministry officials led by Director General (Roads and Bridges) IK Pandey met with National Highway officials to discuss the project. They inspected the roads where the arms of the flyover land. They inquired what measures had been made to divert traffic once the construction starts. They requested authorities that the proposed work’s designs be submitted for approval as soon as possible, sources told hubliexpress.com

The soil investigation for the flyover work has also been completed, according to the source. After the work begins, it will be completed in two years. The officials arrived in the city by road, inspecting the NH4 from Panaji, the NH officials told.

The team was in the city to inspect NH4 (Hubballi-Dharwad bypass), which would be transformed into six lanes. The team then proceeded to Ranebennur to inspect Ranebennur-Baindur Road  (NH 766C).
