Shahjahanpur, 31 Jan (HS): A 60-year-old woman reportedly obtained a fake marriage contract in order to disrupt her nephew’s wedding with the intention of marrying him.
Four people have been charged in this case. Shabana, a widow, was madly in love with Asif, her nephew (42). She had been pressuring him to marry her, which he had refused, stating he could not marry his aunt, according to Additional Superintendent of Police City Sanjay Kumar.

With Asif’s wedding to someone else approaching, Shabana faked a ‘Nikahnama’ and mailed it to his would-be in-laws, causing the wedding to be called off.
Police have filed charges against Shabana, her sons Danish and Asrab, and her daughter Ruhi, and an investigation is underway, according to the ASP.
