To double the income of farmers the state government constitutes state directorate for secondary agriculture.

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has stated that a state directorate for secondary agriculture has been formed. The Chief Minister posted a Koo in this regard. This was done to double the farmers’ income. He said this new body will work towards popularising an integrated farming system in each agro-climatic zone by providing better markets and market intelligence.

ರೈತರ ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ದ್ವಿಗುಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ, ಉಪ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ತಯಾರಿಕೆಗೆ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಅವರ ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ದ್ವಿಗುಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ”: CM @bsbommai
