A massive fire broke out at a godown belonging to Shubham Decorators in Pune’s Wagholi area, causing the death of three laborers. The incident happened on Friday night.
Upon receiving the information, eight fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot to control the flames. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the firefighters, the laborers could not be saved.
The police confirmed that the bodies of the deceased were sent to the government hospital for further procedures. According to fire brigade officials, a godown containing 400 cylinders was located nearby, which could have resulted in a major accident had the flames reached it.
