Gadag: Three passengers were killed on the spot and a few others suffered injuries after the autorickshaw in which they were travelling met with a head-on collision with a bus near Betageri on Sunday night.
It is said that the passengers in the autorickshaw were returning home after attending a marriage in Bagalkot when the accident happened near the Dandin Duragdevi temple on the outskirts of Narasapur.
The injured were shifted to GIMS Hospital, and the deceased were said to be residents of Betageri and Naraspur; their details were yet to be confirmed by the police.
