Hubballi: The Old Hubballi police have arrested three men for allegedly selling cannabis on Tuesday. The police have seized 404 grams of ganja worth Rs 14,000 from their possession.
A police team led by Old Hubballi Police station Inspector Shivanand Kamatagi based on a definite tip-off arrested the accused while they were selling weed in the Anand Nagar area.
The arrested have been identified as Mohammad Jaffar Hebsur, Gopal Valmiki and Rabbani Savanur. The accused are residents of Anand Nagar, said sources and added that Gopal and Rabbani have criminal backgrounds.
