Devotees wearing shirts, pants, and shorts will not be allowed to enter the temple complex. They need to wear dhotis. Women are not allowed to enter the shrine during the daytime but will be allowed in the evening after 8 pm, and they have to be in sarees or other decent attire.

MADAYIKAVU BHADRAKALI

Whenever devotees visit Taliparamba, they first visit the temple of Rajarajeswara, and later they visit Bhadrakali temple, located in Madayikavu near Taliparamba.

It is believed that the Bhadrakali temple is very powerful and that the deity is worshipped to get rid of the effects of black magic.

Those who have been affected by black magic should visit the temple of Bhadrakali. Devotees believe that they can come out of their problems by just offering prayer to the Goddess in the temple.
