Dharwad: Thieves broke into an under-construction building of IIT-Dharwad’s new campus at Chikkamalligawad village and stole bathroom fittings, cables, wires, and pipes kept in a room of the building.
The incident happened between January 13 night and the morning of 14, said the police. The thieves gained entry into the ground floor of the housing building and stole the items kept for bathroom work. The miscreants stole Rs 2.10 lakh worth of items, according to the police. Dharwad Rural Police have registered a case, and an investigation is going on.
