Thieves break into a house in Hubballi and steal Rs. 2.07 lakh in valuables

Hubballi: A case of house break-in was reported in the Town police station limits. The thieves gained entry into the residence of Prabhakar, a railway employee in Kulkarni Hakkala, opposite Rayakar petrol bunk.

The thieves stole away 28 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 1.12 lakh, cash of Rs 87,000 and silver articles weighing 220 grams total worth Rs 2.07 lakh.

The incident happened when Prabhakar and his family members had gone to Galgad village in Nippani taluk to attend the house-warming ceremony of his son-in-law. Town police have registered a case in this regard.
