Theft at IIT Dharwad: Police nab five accused

The Dharwad Rural Police have arrested five accused in connection with the burglary case. The accused allegedly gained entry into the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad’s new campus at Malligawad village and stole pipes, wires, and bathroom fittings.

The names of the accused were not revealed by the police; the accused had stolen Rs 2.10 lakh worth of bathroom fittings, cables, and pipes by barging into one of the under-construction buildings on the new campus of the institute.
