Bengaluru: The expert committee headed by cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty is holding a meeting with the state government. The meeting is being attended by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar and Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai today.
The expert committee will submit its report to the government regarding steps to be taken to prevent the possible third wave of the Covid pandemic and it is also said that the expert committee will give its suggestions on the reopening of schools and colleges in the state.
The committee has submitted its 92-page interim report to the government, and Dr Devi Shetty will submit the final report today, after which the Chief Minister will brief the media on the meeting’s outcome.
