Hubballi: Leading cooperative bank, SUCO bank (Sindhanur Urban Co-operative Bank) which has a presence in North and Central Karnataka, has received permission from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to expand its operation across the state.
Mohit Maski, Chairman of the SUCO bank, has said that SUCO bank is the only cooperative bank that offers all kinds of banking, including digital. He said it has a presence in 18 districts and has 29 branches. Maski said that the bank would expand its network across the state at the earliest as they got permission from the RBI.
SUCO bank has a central office in Ballari and has a presence from Belagavi to Chitradurga and from Kalburgi to Channagiri. In the last financial year, the bank did business worth Rs 1,264 crore. And it has achieved zero NPA.
