The fire at AIIMS Delhi extinguished, and no casualties reported.

New Delhi: Late Wednesday night, a fire broke out at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the national capital. Officials reported that after the alert, at least 26 fire tenders were rushed to the city’s top hospital. Officials claimed the firefighting operation was brought under control by 12.39 a.m. and that no casualties had been reported.

According to officials, the cause of the fire has yet to be determined. According to Sunil Choudhary, deputy chief fire officer, the space where the fire broke out was being utilised for Covid-19 sampling.
