Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced a Rs 10 crore grant for the construction of Kannada Bhavan in Goa.
The CM met office bearers of Akhil Goa Kannada Mahasangha at his home office in Krishna. He said many families from North Karnataka reside in Goa and they are preserving Kannada culture in that state, but they don’t have land there, hence the government is ready to construct a Kannada Bhavan in Goa. He instructed officials to identify the land for this and prepare a detailed project report.
