Today is a special day for superstar Rajinikanth. He will receive the coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Award in New Delhi today, and Rajinikanth is in the national capital to accept it.
Due to the pandemic, the award ceremony was delayed. The celebrity will get India’s highest film honour in recognition of his enormous contribution to Indian cinema.
This year’s award was announced in the month of April. In an interview with the media in Chennai, he expressed gratitude for the award but expressed regret that his master, late K Balachander, was not around to witness him accepting it.
Rajanikanth will receive the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award today in New Delhi.
Interestingly, Rajinikanth will unveil his daughter Soundarya Vishagan’s “Hoote,” a voice-based mobile application.
