Belagavi: Mudhol Tahsildar Sangamesh Badagi, 38, passed away this morning. Sangamesh, a 2014 batch KAS officer who worked as Hubballi Rural Tahsildar for two years before assuming charge as Mudhol Tahsildar, passed away this morning.
Sources said cardiac arrest was the reason for his death. Sangamesh Badagi earned a good name as the Hubballi Rural Tahsildar.
Hubballi Urban Tahsildar Shashidhar Madyal, who worked with Badagi, said that he lost a very good friend. He said he worked with him for almost two years. Madyal said Badagi was a very dedicated man, a man of commitment. He was a hard worker. “I am pained by his sudden demise and have no words to express my grief. May God gives strength to his family to overcome the grief,” he said.
The entire Hubballi Taluka office staff mourned the demise of Badagi. Hubballi Rural Tahsildar Prakash Nashi and other staff will attend the final rites of Badagi in his native village, said sources.
Badagi has a wife and a four-year-old daughter. He is a native of Janawad village in Athani Taluk and was a teacher before becoming a KAS officer.
