Starting from March 20, South Western Railway (SWR) will operate special express trains between Hubballi and Bengaluru to meet the increasing passenger demand.
The request for the train services was made by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, and Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister of Railways, responded by ordering the start of these train services. The first train, Train Number 07339, will depart from Hubballi at 11.15 p.m. and arrive in Bengaluru at 6.50 a.m. The return journey will be made by Train Number 07340, departing from Bengaluru at 11.15 p.m. and reaching Hubballi at 7.30 a.m.
The second train, Train Number 07353, will leave Bengaluru at 7.45 a.m. and reach Hubballi at 2.30 p.m. The return journey will be made by Train Number 07354, departing from Hubballi at 3.15 p.m. and reaching Bengaluru at 11.10 p.m.
The two trains will travel through Karjagi, Davangere, Birur, Tumkur, and Yeshwantpur. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi expressed his gratitude to Ashwini Vaishnaw for responding to his request and ordering the start of these train services.
