Chennai: The much-anticipated collaboration between superstar Rajinikanth and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is officially confirmed by the production house Sun Pictures.
Putting an end to months of speculations about Kanagaraj helming Rajinikanth’s 171st film, the prominent Chennai-based banner unveiled the news on Monday. The yet-to-be-titled project will be both written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Anirudh Ravichander, who composed super hit song Why This Kolaveri Di, who composed music for Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Jawan,” will compose the music for this upcoming film, which is set to feature exhilarating stunts choreographed by “Anbariv.”
Kanagaraj, renowned for his directorial works like “Kaithi,” “Vikram,” and the eagerly awaited “Leo,” expressed his delight in collaborating with the iconic Rajinikanth, marking a significant milestone in his career.
