Hubballi: Kannada film industry’s star, Sudeep, did a whirlwind campaign in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Kundagol constituency candidate, MR Patil on Thursday. The actor held a mesmerizing roadshow in Saunshi town, where he called on voters to cast their votes for MR Patil.
Sudeep’s high-octane campaign
The people from surrounding villages flocked to Saunshi just to catch a glimpse of the Kannada star. In his inspiring address, Sudeep pointed out the poor condition of the roads in the constituency, a clear indication that the local MLA had done nothing to improve the lives of the people.
“I firmly believe that you will not remain silent and tolerate this injustice,” said Sudeep, with passion and conviction in his voice. “I urge you to exercise your right to vote and help BJP bring about the change that this constituency so desperately needs.”
The crowd was electrified by Sudeep’s stirring message and responded with cheers and chants of support. People even went to great lengths to catch a glimpse of the star, climbing trees, terraces, and buildings. The police had a tough time controlling the crowd.
Sudeep arrived at the helipad outside Kundagol town to a rousing welcome from his adoring fans. He then traveled to Saunshi by road and held an awe-inspiring half-an-hour-long roadshow. The BJP’s candidate MR Patil, along with Basavaraj Kundagolmath and other were present during the event.
